SafeNeedleDisposal.org helps people learn how to safely dispose of used sharps. The project was formerly known as “The Coalition for Safe Community Needle Disposal.” In 2014, NeedyMeds, a 501(c)(3) national non-profit information resource for healthcare financial assistance programs, assumed ownership and management of the site from the Coalition.
