Jim Erickson

President and CEO

Jim Erickson joined UltiMed in 2003 and has been an intricate part of the company’s expansive growth. Jim has over 15 years of executive leadership experience and has extensive experience in management and financial consulting including positions at E&Y and GE Capital.

Jim holds a BBA from University of Notre Dame and MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dennis Wagner

Chief Financial Officer

Dennis Wagner joined UltiMed in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to UltiMed, Dennis held various leadership roles with St. Jude Medical (now part of Abbott Laboratories), including Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance & Admin for the Atrial Fibrillation Division. He also spent eleven years in public accounting with Grant Thornton. He has over 30 years of finance and accounting experience and holds a B.S. from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Sarah Hanssen

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Sarah Hanssen is UltiMed’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Sarah joined UltiMed in 2018 and leads Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Analytics and Business Development. She has over 25 years of go-to-market experience in the medical device and bio-pharma industries and has spent her career in commercial leadership roles at leading companies including Roche Diagnostics, Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Digirad, Inc. Sarah holds a BBA from Boise State University and MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Pete Vaillant

Vice President of Operations

Pete Vaillant is UltiMed’s VP of Operations. Pete joined the company in 2018 and leads the manufacturing and supply chain teams in driving safety, delivery, efficiency, quality and cost improvements. Pete holds a BS in engineering and MBA in operations management from the University of Iowa. He is a Twin Cities medical device veteran, with over 20 years of experience in medical device manufacturing and service operations and has spent time at Possis Medical, MEDRAD, Bayer Healthcare and I-Tek Medical Technologies.
